51 km from Fondo Riso
From Ravenna to the sea is a short distance, and among the numerous towns on the riviera we recommend a visit to Cesenatico, and in particular to its gorgeous and lively canal port. Designed by Leonardo da Vinci in 1502, the complex remains one of Romagna’s most picturesque spots, partly thanks to the colourful traditional boats moored there, belonging to the nearby Maritme Museum. Cesenatico is also famous as the birthplace of the “pirate” Marco Pantani, whose memory lives on in the museum dedicated to him.
