Want to experience a real thrill? …try the slopes of Monte Albano, the pass the links Casola Valsenio and Zattaglia on the way to Brisighella, on a sunny day in spring. Before you, orchards of peaches, pears and apricots in bloom create a palette of colours reminiscent of a Monet painting.
In the distance, you can make out the “Cardello”, the historic residence of writer Alfredo Oriani, also known as the “the bicycle poet”.
Fondo Riso offers a multitude of routes for cycle tourism, in a geographical setting that boasts countless possibilities for bicycles and mountain bikes at all levels of difficulty and among a series of delightful views from the Tuscany-Romagna Apennines to the sea.
Here’s what we offer our cycling guests:
– We have a bike room for cycle storage, with a small workshop for maintenance, a bike washing area with a pressure hose, a large garden with private parking space, a multifunctional room (dining room, TV room, meeting room).
– On request: cycle tourism guide, specialised workshops, sports massage.
– Rental of GPS maps;
– We have partnerships with specialised firms in the sale of bikes and accessories, rental and repairs.
– Airport transfer and/or minibus support during excursions, with bike transport trailer.
